NCC-SDP Small Grants up to £500

Committee Background

The NCC-SDP is a charitable organisation, the main purpose of which is to promote and support swimming for disabled people. The Committee is comprised of representatives from national organisations which recognise the importance of this activity, either as a principal objective or an integral part of their work. For more information, see our About page.
The Committee meets twice a year to discuss matters of common importance, to develop new initiatives and to receive reports from member organisations.

Financial Background

The Committee’s total expenditure varies from year to year and, unless the Committee is financing a major initiative, there will usually be funds available to support other projects. It is therefore the Committee’s intention to allocate up to £3000 per year, via grants of up to £500 which meet the criteria for the awarding of a grant.

Application for funding

The Committee has a grants sub-committee, comprising the Chairman and four other Committee members, all of whom are from separate organisations. This group will discuss all applications and make recommendations to the Committee at its next meeting. Successful applicants will be notified within the two weeks following the committee.
Applications should be received by 1st March and 31st October for consideration at the following NCC-SDP meetings.

Application forms can be requested via contact.nccsdp@gmail.com.
